Brace for Change – 6/24/15

For the past 3 years, I’ve been living and working as an actress in Los Angeles. After speaking with a few casting directors and attending the Atlanta Film Festival, I’ve moved back home to Greenville,South Carolina to take advantage of the Southeast market.

Greenville is right in between Atlanta and Charlotte, with easy access to Charleston, Wilmington, and Nashville.

But that’s not all! The biggest reason for the move is that I now have braces!

I’m your gal for all your geeky teen casting needs!

This change has been strange (ha, rhyming) to say the least, but I’m very excited about the new opportunities in Georgia, the Carolinas, Louisiana, and the rest of the Southeast.

And don’t worry, I’m always just a flight away from LA!

Around80Plates goes to Italy! – 5/29/15

I’m also a travel blogger for my site Around the World in 80 Plates. I was very lucky to be able to explore all over Italy with my family! We went to Rome, Turin (to see the Shroud of Turin), Milan (for the World’s Fair), Venice (where I rowed my own gondola!), Naples, and Pompeii! It was an incredible experience and you can check out all my posts over at www.around80plates.com or on Twitter @Around80Plates! I’d love to chat about your travels!

#ForExample – Women in Hollywood – 5/22/15

I’ve always wanted to be the type of actress that performs strong, funny, and inspiring women. There are a lot of complaints that Hollywood portrays women as the same ridiculous two-dimensional stereotypes, but I’d like to offer examples of empowering women. That’s what the #ForExample is all about – showcasing and celebrating wonderful women!

Check out my blog post, #ForExample: 3 Movies Celebrating Women, to see for yourself!

Kaitlin Moose April 2014 Press Release

Kaitlin Moose: fast track to the laugh track

Burbank, CA – 2014 has already proved to be a busy year for nerdy coming-of-age actress Kaitlin Moose.

Moose has been delighted to work with The Game and Hart of Dixie director, Mary Lou Belli, on multi-cam sitcom technique. Her Groundlings training and comedic timing allowed her the opportunity to perform four scenes with the USC directing class, including a lively moment as the random and spastic Phoebe from “Friends.”

She added new headshots from Scott Ferrara Photography to her materials which showcase her quirky, fun college-age persona as well as her loving and vulnerable girl-next-door demeanor.

Moose was thrilled to increase her film experience with a nurturing role in a USC student drama. She recently followed that up by acting in a feature length film, The House on Franklin, that will soon appear on IMDb. Moose was excited to learn basic ASL for her role as a scared deaf daughter trapped in a haunted house.

Her online presence is rapidly growing as her YouTube channel, featuring music covers and comedy vlogs, has reached over 27,000 total views. Her videos may be found at www.youtube.com/iamthemoosinator

She is excited to continue working hard and further her film acting career in 2014.
